Assigning Players to Teams

After registrants have initially registered for the club or tryout, organization staff may assign players to teams. To do this, click on the assign to team button in the top right hand corner of the page within the program.

Once in the ‘Assign Players’ module, you will see everyone who has registered, but not accepted a team invite in the player pool. To assign a player to a team, just click the player’s name, then click the team that you would like to assign them to to the right. If there are any players that did not make a team, click ‘didn’t qualify’.Screen Shot 2016-06-06 at 4.03.30 PM

Pro Tip: Assign a whole team at once by checking everyone on the same team first

Messages to Players

Upon accepting a player to a team, you will have the opportunity to write out a custom message that will be sent with the acceptance message.

Screen Shot 2016-06-06 at 4.03.53 PMAfter writing this, just click send to send the invite. The parent/player will receive the invite, which will have a link back into KYCK Registration to accept the invite and pay any team dues.

If you assign a player to ‘didn’t qualify’ you will not be able to write a custom message, and they will receive this notification.Screen Shot 2016-06-06 at 4.05.49 PM

If you leave a player in the player pool (unassigned) then no email will be triggered.
